Terms of Service

By creating an account or using CurrículoRaiz, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, you must not use the platform.

CurrículoRaiz is a platform for creating, editing, and exporting resumes and cover letters, with a free plan and the paid Pro plan (section 6).

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. You agree to provide truthful information when registering and to notify us if you identify any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to use CurrículoRaiz for unlawful purposes, to violate the rights of others, to distribute offensive content, or to attempt to compromise the security or operation of the platform.

The content you enter into your resumes and cover letters (text, professional data, etc.) belongs to you. The CurrículoRaiz brand, the platform design, the visual templates, and the source code belong to the service provider.

CurrículoRaiz has a free plan and the Pro plan. Pro is sold as one-time passes valid for a number of days (for example, 14, 30 or 90 days). Without the renewal described below, when the days run out Pro ends on its own and nothing else is charged. The price is the one shown at the moment of purchase. Payment is processed by Mercado Pago (Pix or credit card in a single installment).

Starter pass: the shortest pass (currently 14 days) is only for the first purchase of each account and becomes a discount once. If you buy a longer pass while it is valid, what you paid for it comes off the price of the new pass, a single time. This discount does not stack with coupons: the larger of the two applies.

Automatic renewal, only if you choose it: on the 30- and 90-day passes you can check "Renew automatically", card only. The box starts unchecked. With it checked, the same amount is charged at the end of each period until you cancel, with the price locked on the day of purchase. We notify you 3 days before each charge. Cancelling is one click in Settings and takes effect right away: Pro stays until the date already paid and nothing else is charged. Card details stay with Mercado Pago; we never receive them.

Coupons: a coupon applies under the conditions shown at the time (percentage, validity and the passes it covers), once per account, and does not stack with other discounts. A 100% coupon activates Pro with no charge.

Right of withdrawal: you can request a full refund of any pass, and of each renewal charge, within 7 days of the purchase or charge, through the support email (article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code). With the refund, the days of that purchase are removed from your Pro and, if you end up without Pro, what was unlocked with it (downloading in a Pro template, downloading letters) asks for Pro again.

Pro features may be made free for everyone for a limited time. The app says so when it happens ("free for a limited time"), and the feature may go back to Pro only. What you did during that period stays available: for example, a resume downloaded in a premium template keeps downloading in that template.

What has been free since October 13, 2026 (creating, editing and exporting resumes as PDF and DOCX, the Classic and Executive templates, LinkedIn import and the examples) stays free. Accounts created from the Pro launch onwards have up to 5 resumes on the free plan; older accounts keep having no such limit. When Pro ends, nothing you created is deleted.

CurrículoRaiz is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted availability, absence of errors, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do our best to keep the service stable, but we do not guarantee error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CurrículoRaiz is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from the use or inability to use the platform.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice whenever reasonably possible.

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, with an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The venue of the consumer user’s domicile is elected to settle any disputes, in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990).
